Thomas/Wright, Inc. (T/WI) prepared engineering plans and specifications for the replacement of 12,000 lineal feet of potable water distribution lines at the Yermo Annex of the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Barstow, California.

The new lines will replace existing outdated water lines at the base. The new pipe ranges in size from six inch diameter to fourteen inches. Key elements of the design include railroad crossings, contaminated soils, and hazardous waste contamination at the Base. T/WI prepared a water system model to size the new pipes and ensure proper fire flows throughout the Phase III area.

Also included in the scope of this project is a site survey of the design area and a water system master plan detailing the improvements made in Phases I, II, and III in GIS format.
