Thomas/Wright, Inc. designed improvements to the Keller Water System in Keller, Washington on the Colville Indian Reservation. Design elements included a new 175,000 gallon water storage tank, a directional drilled under crossing of the San Poil River, water line, and access road. T/WI developed a detailed water system model using WaterCAD to balance the water levels in the new and existing system tanks. The new welded steel storage tank includes a ladder, access hatches, and overflow pipe; a level reader board; and other accessories. The river crossing will create a loop in the Keller Water System which will add reliability and flexibility to the system for future upgrades and development. T/WI coordinated the geotechnical exploration for both the water tank and the river crossing. |
