Thomas/Wright, Inc. reestablished horizontal and vertical control and cross sectioned forty-nine river cross sections on the Cowlitz River.

The survey aided the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in preparing hydraulic information for the 2-, 10-, 50-, 100-, and 500-year floods in the Cowlitz River. Cross section data was provided in a format compatible with HEC-2.
